Personal Information

I've been married to Laurie Van Cleave for over 30 years. We have two grown sons, both of whom are pursuing rewarding careers in the Atlanta area.

Our family has attended Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, GA, since we moved to the Atlanta area in 1998. I serve Perimeter as an elder, and Laurie uses her education and training as an Educational Therapist to benefit the students at Perimeter Christian School. 

Our family enjoys hiking and being in the outdoors, so I volunteer with Trail Life USA. I currently serve as the Chaplain of Troop 317, sponsored by Perimeter Church. 

I find serving with Trail Life to be very rewarding. Working in and for various corporations has given me leadership and organizational skills that allow me to give back to the community. Passing along these skills, in a mentoring relationship with young men, allows me to invest in the next generation of America's leaders.
